Performance at SACSS

Percussionistas had a hell of a time at SACSS...nervous at first..but we did great. Too bad we weren't allowed to talk on the mic. I had A LOT of things to say. heh.
The comments that we got is that apparently we were the best item out of the whole earth day concert. And not to mention, when I looked around, I saw gawking expressions from a few familiar faces. That's what you get when people say untrue things about you, and you just ignore it and give your best to prove to them, whatever they said was crap. No pictures or videos taken though because we had no one to help us.( our photographer was working..haha)

Performance at Fort Canning

The performance at Fort Canning was a tiring one but rather fun. We started the day early.
Sat at Fort Canning park waiting for the whole event to start. Practising, laughing, taking a few pictures. And when it was time to perform...we were all hyped. Cheers from only few people in the crowd. But generally, they enjoyed our music. But playing softer was a bit of a challenge for us. Anyway, loads of pictures taken after the performance, click the link at the side. We've learnt not to treat ourselves as rockstars cause now we're just starting out and if people want to treat us like shit then we have to take it cause we're not in a position to request, we ain't professionals....yet. But we are working very hard towards it.

We would like to thank, our guest player, Tara, for performing with us. We love you!!!=)

Our next performance will be Fengshan Stars and Percussionistas will be the opening act. We'll be doing something new. We invite everyone to watch us that day!!!! Come and support us!

p.s Percussionistas, chalet will be from 17th June - 19th June, bbq on the 17th.=) see you all on Thursday!

Percussionistas was formed October 2007
Starting out with just 5 members,
percussionistas created and is still creating
infectious beats and grooves inspired from
percussion/samba bands,both local and global

Being an all girl percussion band,
we have been given
opportunities to perform to build up
our repertoire and show a little of our girl power!!

As a band, we hope to build our current
standing(which is 12) and of course play
at more exciting venues!!
